Christmas Seals

The idea for Christmas Seals originated in Denmark in 1904. Based on the successful 1908 campaign in the United States the Women's National Health Association Ireland issued the first Irish Christmas Seals in 1909.

The Northern California Chapter of the Éire Philatelic Association will hold a meeting in conjunction with WESTPEX 2018 on Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Room 8024.

The meeting will include a talk by noted philatelist Barry Cousins, who will speak on his current project; a reference guide for collectors of Irish stamps from 1992 through 2001.
